Program Description |
| Phase I - Residential
Rainbow Treatment Center has an intensive eight-week program.
Admissions are done on Mondays, and clients who have successfully
completed the program are discharged on the Friday of their eighth week.
Rainbow Center is a co-ed facility for adults. You will be residing with
other clients who are both male and female. The men's quarters are in one
wing of the building, and the women's quarters are in the opposite wing.
Each week at Rainbow, a different recovery-related topic is addressed in
depth. After eight weeks, the cycle begins again. Which week you enter
treatment will determine the order of the topics you will be exposed to.
The eight-week schedule is as follows: |
| Week One: | Alcohol/Drug Awareness/Disease Model | |
| Week Two: | Relationships and Family Issues | |
| Week Three: | Men's Issues/Women's Issues | |
| Week Four: | Self Concept and Communication Skills | |
| Week Five: | Emotions and Anger Work | |
| Week Six: | Assertiveness Training and Living Skills | |
| Week Seven: | Spiritual and Cultural Awareness | |
| Week Eight: | Relapse Prevention |
|
Each week, you will be asked to participate in a variety of activities. These include group and individual therapy, educational sessions, fitness and life skills training and a variety of outings and events. Phase II - Transitional This is an option available for clients who have successfully completed residential treatment, and who are not yet ready to return to an independent living arrangement. Placement in an extended treatment facility, or continued residence at Rainbow may be arranged with the consent of the clinical staff. Phase III - Aftercare An aftercare treatment plan is created for each client who successfully completes the residential program. The treatment plan is created by the client and their counselor working together, in order to promote continued sobriety for the client. Rainbow Center currently offers an 8-week support group for those who graduate from our residential and outpatient programs. The aftercare group meets twice a week. In addition, clients are expected to attend self-help meetings such as AA and NA, and individual counseling as needed. |
